Sooo after rewatching Mekakucity with my brother during the holidays, I felt like drawing more KagePro related art. Even though I ended up just drawing more Ayano as usual...orz. But I really wanted to portray the scene which probably made me the most emotional, the time when she sacrificed everything to keep her family and friends safe, and let the Heat Haze swallow her. The hand is Kano's, and the scene is meant to be from his point of view, reaching out to his beloved big sister, but helpless to stop her. Rather than re-creating the black snake of the heat haze from the anime version of the scene, I decided to go with the more portal-like Heat Haze from the Ayano's Theory of Happiness music video, since I wanted to reference that version of the moment as well.
