You guys don't realise how happy I am to actually get this one done, and right before graduation night! I've loved KHR for a while now, and it's coloured most of my high school life. I'm pretty sure quite a few of my friends can attest to how downright obsessed I could get over it, and well, couldn't for the life of them figure out why. Understandably. XD Well, there are quite a few reasons actually. Despite being such a very flawed manga, I really could relate to the characters, especially Tsuna (that incredible dork XD ). When I looked at the cast, it reminded me of myself and my friends, so much (though admittedly we're not that insane lol). The story inspired me to try my best and never give up, that if I tried, tried and tried again, I can maybe one day succeed, and that I shouldn't feel hopeless, because we all have potential to do great. It even helped me be at least a little bit braver.
The reason why I don't really do fan art for this series is because I always felt I wouldn't be able to do it justice. But today, I decided not to let that bother me, because this is something that I wanted, and needed to do. It may not be a lot - I only have Tsuna here, and with such a limited colour palette and style at that - but I really wanted to at least give this series a tribute of some sort.
For those of you who read this long-winded couple of paragraphs of me practically thanking a comic book like the total geek I am, thanks to you too. XD
I haven't really done this limited colour palette thing before, but this was kind of fun, if a bit tricky. I'm not sure how well it came out, but I'm personally satisfied with the results. XD
